Gateway Of India
Gateway of India is one of the most unique monuments of India. It signifies the ‘City of Dreams’. Built in the year 1911 during the British Raj, it was to celebrate the arrival of King George V and Queen Mary to Bombay. The monument is built in yellow basalt and indissoluble concrete. One can also trace the Muslim architecture here.
It is one of the most popular tourist places of India. Thousands of people from all over the world come here to get a single glimpse of it. Located at the waterfront area of Apollo Bunder, it recognizes the area as one of the most famous ports.
The eye-catching city lights surrounding the entire Marine Drive gives it the name ‘Queen’s Necklace’. Marine drive is a 4km long stretch in South Bombay. The Goregaon Film City earns a lot of limelight from all over India due to its charm. It has studios, fake lakes, gardens, and many other films backgrounds. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sanghralaya

Also, UNESCO granted it the ‘Asia Pacific Heritage Award’ for Cultural Heritage Conservation in 2010. It is the symbol of a rich heritage.
